Pros: This thing is ridiculously fast. It completely blows away my old Athlon64 X2-4200+ I'm getting 2-3x the performance in nearly every application. Games, video encoding, winRAR, you name it.
Very low power consumption for such a powerful CPU. I think it actually uses less power than my X2 4200+
Lots of headroom. Even with the stock cooler I had it at 3.8ghz. I've backed off until I get an aftermarket heatsink though.
Cons: None that I can think of.
Other Thoughts: Most of the apps/games I use are single/dual threaded so this seemed like the obvious choice for me. Dual cores can reach higher clock speeds, are cheaper, and use less power.
